The
purpose of the Franklin D. Roosevelt American Heritage Center, Inc.
is to provide educational and other learning opportunities concerning
Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, with focus on the New Deal in American
history during the 1930s and 1940s, the continued importance and relevance
of the New Deal legacy in the world today, and to promote dissemination
of such topics to the public. The Franklin D. Roosevelt American Heritage
Center is a charitable, not for profit organization with IRS 501(c)(3)

The goals of the FDR American Heritage Center are
to sponsor:
Franklin D. Roosevelt American Heritage
Museum, presentating primary source documents relating to
Franklin D. Roosevelt and the New Deal;
Interactive, computer-based, student-oriented presentations
of the life and times of Franklin D. Roosevelt;
Essay contests on the life and times of Franklin D. Roosevelt
and the New Deal;
Student scholarship programs to stimulate the study of Franklin
D. Roosevelt and the New Deal;
Franklin D. Roosevelt Fellowship program to identify and assist
noted historians in the field to produce scholarly products related
to Franklin D. Roosevelt and the New Deal;
Creation of audio-visual materials on the life and time of
Franklin D. Roosevelt for use in school-based settings;
A new journal devoted to the activities of the Franklin D.
Roosevelt American Heritage Center, including scholarly publications
in this area;
Other public-service oriented activities designed to promote
dissemination of the public service of Franklin D. Roosevelt,
his family, and associates.
